Retreat 25-27 April 2025

Do you follow your own path of life?

Your mind knows only some things. Your inner voice, your instinct, your heart knows everything. If you listen to what you know instinctively, it will always lead you down the right path. – Henry Winkler

Return to yourself and embrace your unique path

Finding and staying true to your life's path has always been a profound human quest. There is no pre-set trail, no definitive answer, and only you can discover how to navigate it. It begins with self-discovery. Who am I? Am I walking my own path, or am I following someone else's?

Rianne van de Griendt and Rokus Harder are dedicated and passionate coaches, well-equipped to assist you with your life questions. They approach this with love and respect, eager to guide you through this transformative retreat. Step out of your daily routine and take the time to reconnect with yourself. Where am I today, what do I want and what do I need?

What can you expect in this retreat?

In short, our program includes a variety of personal and group activities designed to foster self-discovery and answers on the question currently in your life. Walking, creativity, and personal reflection form therefore the core of our program. Next to that there are ample opportunities to reflect with others. Reiki / energetic healing is also offered for those interested. Symbols support visualizing your next steps.

Who are we?

Rianne van de Griendt – Life & Soul Coach

I am educated as New Age and Energetic SoundTouch Therapist, as well as Spiritual Master of Angelology. This inspired me to start my New Age practice 'Nieuwetijdspraktijk Rianne' in 2022. My passion is to guide people on their life path, to activate their self-healing capacity and to pass on wisdom of life. Also I work parttime at Philips as Training & Competence Lead and Peer Coach. In this corporate world I miss spirituality and the connection with people on a deeper level; this is what I offer in my own practice. www.nieuwetijdspraktijk-rianne.nl

Rokus Harder – Life and Career Coach

In 2019 I decided to focus on personal development, and this year I've started my own practice "Compassion", see www.rokusharder.nl. The coaching I do also within Philips and I had the pleasure to guide already many people with questions around their purpose and goals in life or related to their career choices. I also organize retreat and other (personal development or coaching) events within my practice. Next to that I do work 4 days a week at Philips as Global Service Innovation Lead for MRI.

Practial information

For this retreat we meet in Pilgrim hostel Kafarnaüm in Vessem. Registration and room allocations starts Friday at 4:00 PM. The program starts at 5:00 PM and closes on Sunday around 4:00 PM. The retreat is fully catered for, including meals, coffee, tea and overnight stays in a single or double room. We like to keep the group small (maximum 6-8p) to enable enough time and space for each other. The costs of this retreat are 360 euros per person.

Note: As this pilgrim hostel is actually used by pilgrims as well, it might be that you are sharing a room with someone from our retreat group.

The program

During a retreat, the focus is on your personal questions and the answers you uncover through reflection. However, a retreat is also a shared experience as group. You will connect with others through conversation or silent understanding. You motivate each other, as everyone is striving for the same goal: escaping the busy routine and constant stream of information coming towards us. That's why the program is a blend of personal and group activities, allowing for both solitary tranquillity and shared experiences.

The retreat's location plays a significant role. The pergrim-inn location has a unique ambiance and energy that influences us, inspires us, and helps us step out of our everyday world. It features a beautiful garden filled with art, a dedicated creative studio space and a peaceful chapel. To give you a sneak peek in the program:

  • Friday is about getting to know each other and understanding your intention for this retreat. We take the time to 'get landed' and move from the busy week schedule into stillness.
  • On Saturday we start the day together with reflection on the night. The main program during the day is a hike through the beautiful nature around our location. During the hike we pay attention to mindfulness, our intuition and preparing for a creative evening. After the hike there is also time for further personal reflection, conversations or a Reiki treatment / energetic healing. We will use the evening for a creative workshop to take a closer look where we stand on our path of life.
  • Sunday morning some exercises and check into our body: where do we stand right now, has anything changed. What are our needs and what do we need to let go off. We conclude by looking ahead, what do we take with us from this retreat?
